Holiday Party:

On Dec 20 Carlos and Mareny’s party with Santa, a kids writing contest, presents, and more.

Resident Appreciation Day:

The staff hosted another terrific Resident Appreciation Day in August this year. Over 150 residents attended and enjoyed games, activities, and characters including: gift cards, a clown, a DJ, and cartoon characters such as: Spider Man, Dora the Explorer, Olaf, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Minions, Mickey Mouse, Batman, and Ironman. Carlos made his usual entertaining, complementary, and humorous announcements using the microphone. New this year was a Zumba program which residents loved. Kids also enjoyed two moon bounces; playing musical chairs and hula-hoops; balloon toys; face painting; and special gifts. There was a dance contest and the best dancers where given prizes. Management provided hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn, candy, chips, and sodas. Many helped to make this special event fun and successful, including: Persia, Katherine, Felix, Leonel, Ada, and others. A great time was had by all.

Halloween Costume/Candy give-away:

On October 31 parents were invited to bring their kids to the rental office in costume and receive Halloween candy. 126 kids attended, some parents also attended.

ReV-UP research:

In early October Duncan and Camp Fire intern Ms. Ali Blasiar met with Father Erick Lopez and Mayra Mejia of Catholic Community of Langley Park to discuss the possibility of ReV-UP at Quebec Arms. They were very enthusiastic about the prospect of this program, and believe it could really help the community.

Resident Appreciation Day:

On August 19th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, we will be hosting our Resident Appreciation Day. This will include: music, piñatas, moon bounces, clown, gift cards, hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn, candies, sodas, water, and more! Contact the leasing office for more information.

Summer Food Service Program:

St. Camillus organized this program at Quebec Arms. About 55 Kids received free lunches each day into August.
